This could be very possible, as Hasselblad already makes a camera Moto Mod. The noted feature shown in these renders is a Hasselblad branded 16 MP camera with an f/1.9 aperture. The renders definitely show some kind of expansion attached to the device, though. If this is the DROID Turbo 3, it may not be compatible with the current line of Moto Mods. The pins are in the renders are in a straight line, however, which contrasts with the Moto Z’s dual row array. Visible in the images is a line of what appear to be input pins, which could be the same “pogo pins” used by the Moto Z to connect to Moto Mods. While the Moto Z was designed around circles, this device takes inspiration from rectangles. Instead of the smooth, round edges, these images show a device that is more angular. This is odd, as the DROID Turbo and DROID Turbo 2 shared similar design aspects with the Moto devices released in the same year. ![]() The renders of what could be the DROID Turbo 3 show a design that is markedly different, though. However, Android Headlines recently shared leaked images from Chinese site Weibo show what could possibly be the Motorola DROID Turbo 3. Motorola, who is now owned by Lenovo, has been completely silent on the successor to the popular DROID Turbo 2, a Verizon exclusive here in the United States. The DROID Turbo line is known for its top-of-the-line specs, long battery life, and rugged design. Motorola’s iconic DROID brand has always been at the bleeding edge of smartphone technology and a showcase of Android.
